Saw this on the BBC web a while back hope it helps

Quote from: BBC Website
K-9 Adventures
Doctor Who's robotic dog K9 is to get its own TV spin-off featuring a mixture of live action and computer animation.
Children's TV channel Jetix Europe is joining forces with former Doctor Who designer Paul Tams and K9 co-creator Bob Baker for the 26-instalment series.
Michael Lekes of Jetix Europe said the new series, to be called K9 Adventures, would be "an excellent space fantasy-adventure series that we are sure will be immensely popular".

Cool picture do you know if it will just be on cable/satelite channels or on BBC do you know when it's due to start?

Cheers

Don't know if it's true but heard rumour it's not even in the can yet!

BBC officially said they were giving it to someone else (Once bitten....as the saying goes)
As they're too busy making Torchwood, So it's now being made by Park entertainment (part of Aardman anim. I believe)

Ah ha, it gets very confusing when all these companies work together Roll Eyes Like on films were the screen is filled with all the different companies used. Park is in Nick Park? Undecided Oh Aardman is cool I think they are great  Grin

Well I think this two parter was great and the suspense of 'how on earth -or whereever- are they going to get out of this' was great. However much as I like dear David (as you all know Roll Eyes ) the scene when he was talking to the monster and the camera angles kept changing rapidly drove me a little crazy.

I know it was liking watching an episode of Jamie Oliver  ROFL!.  I think that was to illustrate how quirky and crazy he was rather than to just make us a little sea sick  Lips Sealed.  I have to say though the 'Devil' was pretty scary.  I suspect that was their sfx budget for the whole series blown in that one scene  Wink.  Next weeks looks really good again and I think it may be a lead in to Torchwood  Azn

Um yeah still not sure. Yes it was although I had already seen it on the website. It reminded me a bit of the monsters in the sinbad stories although obviously more high tech, but the masssiveness of it.

It does look good but I am not sure what on earth is happening.

There had been talk of her quitting before but that had been hushed up although, I bet they have known for ages by the sounds.

Thanks Dawn. I'll check it out - I've been meaning to for a while. Is it on DVD yet?

Oh no! I wasn't ever a Billie Piper fan prior to this ROFL! but I've grown rather fond of her Sad

Oh yeah its been on DVD for a while, I got it from HMV online and it was a lot cheaper than buying it in store for £20 (BBC £10.99, Amazon £10.97, HMV £13.99 but with free delivery  Wink )

I wonder who they will get next, they said they have already got someone lined up

They have named the new assistant.  She is an actress from the failed Crossroads revival.  I wonder if she will be human?
