So do you think Daniel isn't allowing them to use it?  That makes no sense, if they can cut up the outfit, they could use the patch and stuff, like they are with Cedric...you would think.

There was one I saw awhile ago. It was on a duel costume card and harry's robe had an eyelet in the swatch. I can't remember how much it went for, but I know it was alot!

No, I think Warner Bros. might not want Artbox to use it.  They wouldn't allow permission form swatches with lettering; they may not have allowed Harry Quidditch robe swatches with distinguishing marks.   Somehow, both seem to fall in the same category -- there must be some corporate "logic" going on here.

Do you remember when we were first getting info about the update set -- Artbox initially said that the wanted poster swatches wouldn't contain any lettering.  There must have been some negotiations, because they did end up using lettering and the picture.

I really don't see what the problem is though, if they are cutting the thing up anyway Huh

I saved this one to refer back to.  However, the picture is no longer there, but if you read the descritpion, you will see this is the card you are talking about.  probably didn't sell for as much as you thought, huh?

The permission slip had some writing.  Doesn't Tower or someone here have one that says PER on it?  Or are you talking about no handwritten stuff?

I agree. If they are cutting it up anyway, what's the difference?

I am hoping the lack of these variants is just that there are sooooo many unopened boxes and cases.  All the good ones are still out there and in a few years time a dual costume with two house logos will go on Ebay for £9.99 bin Grin

Well a girl can dream!!!!

Warner Bros. allowed only a minimal amount of writing to appear on the swatches.  From what I understand, there was other writing on the form (imagine a standard permission slip your parents might have had to sign when you were in school), and that was not allowed on the swatches.

Two possible reasons I can think of

1.  Warners were really lazy and didn't actually make propper props

2.  Warners are just really mean. Well they did shut down their shops :'(

Just think how I felt?  My only Pinky and the Brain supplier in the UK shut down :'(  Now I have to spend silly money on Ebay buying Six Flags stuff.  Or to be more precise my brothers do Grin

I love your variant dual by the way.  I did see at least one of these up for sale and just thought there was lots of them so didn't bid.  Guess who's kicking themselves now Roll Eyes

Dawn it seems we are both into kicking someone today Cheesy

We would have all spent a fortune on HP stuff.  At least, I know I would have.

And yes, that appears to be a badger's bottom Wink.
