Can anyone help me with some of the abreviations being used in postings.

I have figgered out lol is not 'lots of love' Cheesy cause this I use in texting but some of the others are throwing me.

Yes I know this makes me sound very, very old but compared to most of the whipper snappers on here I am Smiley

I have just been desperately scanning the postings but the only one I can see at the moment is 'IMHO'.

I am going to be soooo embarressed if this turns out to be someones name or qualifications Grin

As and when I find some more I will stick them here.  Trouble is once I know them all, my postings will be even more confusing than they are now lol!!!!!!!!

I was told IMHO was for "in my humble opinion".

There's already a thread that has some abbreviations listed:

I myself found it very helpful since I am older than the both of you! Roll Eyes

That's dead clever.  Probably why it went straight over my head lol*

*See now i'm obsessed.  IMHO I should ease up on the abrv already.  AHHHHHHH  Cheesy

Thanks Anna.  I will get the hang of finding things on here (eventually!).

As for age at least we are much of a muchness ie children of the sixties.  Doesn't it scare you to think some people (ooo two or three postings ago Cheesy) were not even around for Charlie and Di's wedding!!!!
