Happy St. Patrick's Day to you all from the United States! It is a huge holiday here as well. On top of it being St. Paddy's Day today it is the start of what we call March Madness which is the name given to our College National Basketball Championship! For a little over a week the top 52 College Basketball teams will battle each other until there are only 2 teams left to fight for the National Championship. Truely some of the best basketball played. One of our St. Paddy's Day traditions has been the serving of green beer which is just food coloring added to the beer. Do others in the world do this as well? Corned beef & cabbage is served today and major parades are held in our larger cities.

hey,
ya we have green guinness over here that guinness bring out some years. i can't say i have ever heard of the corned beef and cabbage meal ye eat. its not a traditional meal over here so i wonder where the tradition started? go for bacon and cabbage to be really green(and i'd say it tastes much nicer, lol.)

That 4 pack of beer you bought a month ago for our visitors is still untouched. Why don't you get some green food colouring on the way home??

No no no, you don't understand... it's just not the same if you make your own green beer. It's got to be green out of the tap
