Should Mark make (personalised) Pirates Mugs?

Well guys, for my Dad's birthday Mark made him a personalised mug with my Dad's favourite character on; Marmaduke:

however the mug was a different design to that  and basically said hand's off this is Philip's mug (for use around the office).

Sadly my Dad is too frightened to use the mug as it's a one off - so it sits in polystyrene unused which is a shame to be honest!

Anyway - I was wondering whether anyone thinks it's a good idea for Mark to make a mug with characters from his Pirates comics?

I won't stop with my demands, from mark i want a HP comic, a LOTR comic, a Forum Mag (one of only), a Personlised Mug, A pearttree card *cough*  

And a cartoon Character of me

Mark see what business opportunities are developing off your site!  This is just the beginning my friend!!  

Remeber what I told you several months ago about a LOTR's comic and now people also want a HP one too!!    I think Samwise is just touching the tip of the proverbial iceberg.  All great ideas one and all to be sure.

Honestly i would think a YakShack comic (mag) would be amazing, maybe having a LOTR and HP comic related in it along with pirates, bobs your uncle etc.

This is time and money and i would hand over cash straight away for a personalised mug and money toward your time taking in the mag and to keep one of the mags. I am looking into the future way too much, would be nice to look forward to these new projects

Hey Roz:

Just a suggestion.  How cool would it be for Mark to include in Bob's Your Uncle & Pirates people from the Forum - you know Samwise, FTK, Ed...Van Halen, yourself to name a few!!   Maybe you can bring it up with him when he is in a happy mood!!

I can see FTY fitting in well (if she didn't have such a masculine name of Yak in front of her name  )  But a famous guitarist? LOL

Ben has been asking for a toon version of himself - and I am sure he'll get one as soon as Mark has the time   most probably posing with some star or other

Mark is currently working on a tee shirt - the prototype will be made in the next week or so - photos will be taken for everyone to comment on...

BEWARE - the yak is back!

(then he's working on Sunday's bob toon tonight so I dunno how we will ever get him to make a mug - quick someone have a birthday and specifically request one!)

Well I am pushing it a little with my birthday next month but what the heck!!  

A mug with my Aragorn avatar on it would be cool and not the one Mark - I can see your evil eyes glinting - that you made Aragorn look like a psycho in the helmet and goggles!!    Come to think of it Aragorn looks like a pycho in this avatar and you would have to be to face off against 10,000 Uruk-Hai at Helm's Deep!!

thats cool Thanks for the well wishes! Just tell Mark that he has to design a yakshack mug - maybe a general Yakshack mug that can be personalised with your avatar or quote, something like that?

Definitely!

He made a mug for my Dad - my Dad has a coffee addiction (or at least that is what we call it - whilst we discuss it over "the odd cup of tea"  ) and Mark had a mug made with a beefy looking Marmaduke (the yellow Monkey toon saying "hands off - Philip's Coffee mug  basically - I'll try to find the design for you - it went all the way around the mug.

It looks great - so great Dad doesn't use it - he's keeping it safe  

Anyway it would be easy once it's designed to change it for each forum member - but I think it's a great idea to do a forum one - I'll get Mark on it but he's currently tee shirt designing for a Friend's birthday on the 30th June... (so even higher up the list than you Ed). Talking of that we ought to be starting to pack your birthday parcel Ed ... I think you know what's in it though so that's very dull   I have half of them at my place and Mark has the other half at his - it can take us weeks to sort out a parcel when we are in this much disarray
