Other Sets...

I dont know If I'm putting this is the right forum but I was thinking about getting into other trading cards because I've been collection them since I was a baby *thanks inpart to my dad*. What are some of the other sets that are some really good ones?

Any of the Rittenhouse cards are usually lovely and you get guaranteed 'goodies' (in most if not all sets)

The James Bond Cards look good. Maybe you will get it just right next time. Just takes practice

Anymore good sets. I like the LOTR sets but I'll post a topic on those  in the rightfull place after I get my future boxes.

I've heard some good stuff about the Disney Treasuer cards. Are those good or...?

LOTR are to die for but as some are a few years old the prices are pretty heffty.  Sorry don't know about Disney

I suppose it depends on what subject interests you.  Some of my favorites (past and present) are:

X-Files from Inkworks   (www.inkworks.com)
   -New set coming in May

Star Trek from Rittenhouse
   -New set coming any day now

Garbage Pail Kids from Topps   (www.topps.com)
   -I was a heavy collector back in the 80's, they have a new series coming out in April with SKETCH cards. Way cool.

Star Wars from Topps
   -Of course Revenge of the Sith cards come out in April


But maybe you aren't a big geek like me   and some of those companies other products will interest you.
