I didn't think of that! The art department that produced the map did an excellent job, and I just love how they tucked all sorts of things into it. Too bad there are no detailed pictures of it as a whole piece.

Well my mum did suggest that we all get together with our pieces and stick it back together again, what do you reckon  It must have taken them forever to put the thing together in the first place. |

It's probably impossible, since we don't know from what sections, or from what side (front or back) the swatches were cut. Could be fun to try, though! Has anyone seen a swatch from the front section, with the picture of Hogwarts? (Other than the one on the Artbox website, that is.) I've seen one auction that had part of the Whomping Willow, but that's it. |

Perhaps they were told not to use that part of the Map in the swatches?  I'm looking forward to receiving my MM card now that I've seen Dawn's lovely card. |

Thanks!! I'll have to get all my variants scanned and uploaded so I can post them for you. I received a particularly nice Divination prop card today (one of the blue cloth swatches) and it has tiny mirrors sewn onto the cloth with red and gold coloured stitching .... it's beautiful! I couldn't make out what the writing says on the Map swatch from the photo posted of it on the listing so I'm as interested as you to see what it is. *sighs* so many lovely cards and so little time ....  |
