Is that one of the little stripes from the front that I see in the photo?  What are the odds of that swatch?  Shocked  I've said it before and I'll say it again- "All hail Anna, Queen of the varients!"

I think that's where the stripes came from. Undecided   I won this card from Tom and he told me that it was the only variant one he had seen. Cool
ROFL!  You wrote that in my feedback comment and I still laugh about that to this day. Grin

I don't think so, but good try. Wink  I think I'm the biggest sucker for a variant card - I want to get variants of cards I already have variants of. Roll Eyes  (Thanks Tower for stopping me from bidding the other day on that Wizards Candy card.)  Good luck getting those last 3 cards at a decent price hyescarface00. Praying

The usual ones are completely pink (magenta), but this one has some gold stitching. Grin

It's the same as the one Martyn found in an auction listing, "confirmed" by Tom. Tom had posted approximate numbers earlier, in some of his own auctions ...

Has anyone (Martyn?) picked up the Cards Inc set? 50p a pack in WHSmiths (cheaper by the box?)

61 base cards  A Front card, checklist card and 59 "puzzle-backed" cards (making up 6-piece puzzles - but how does that maths work out?) chase seems to be 12 Scratch and sniff cards: 6 Whipple Scrumptious Fudgemallow Delight cards and 6 Chilly Chocolate Creme. These are also puzzle cards -  a set of the 6 make up a picture of the chocolate bar.

I know the fun of collecting cards is pulling something like an Auto Depp out of a hobby pack etc, but if you are going for say the full set of C&TCF, wouldn't it be cheaper to just buy a full set (unless ofc you get ultra luck on cases and boxes) ?

It would be cheaper to buy a complete set.  This is also true because some cards aren't even in the boxes. But then, some people are lucky with their pulls, I suppose.

Yes Rosco, I think you are right,  I think it probably would be quite a bit cheaper, unless you are very lucky! For instance you can buy 5 cases of Charlie and in all likelyhood you wouldn't get a golden ticket card - which on ebay costs a good deal less than the price of 5 cases! However you would have a good pile of other cards for the rest of the set.... there's just a lot of fun to be had opening packs Wink

Then there is always the wise-guy who opens six cases and gets 5 Depp autos, two in one case.  Roll Eyes
