Hi. Let's just say you opened a box of Disney Treasures and found the 1 of 1 Walt Disney signed card. First, I do not think it has been pulled as we have not heard anything, yunless it is in someone's eprsonal collection and we don't know, or as my husband says, some little kid got it and the corners are nibbled on and Mickey is drawn with red crayon on the card, etc... (can you imagine  ). Anyway, how much do you think this card would sell for if listed on eBay. Just curious to see what you think. Thanks! |

There is a website by someone who specializes in authenticating Walt Disney's autograph. His prices range from roughly $1,200 to $2,000. However, so many people are looking for this cut auto card that the final price on eBay could be considerably higher. I'd guess $10,000.

Didn't a "cut" signature from Walt just sell on ebay - not from treasures but from another set - did anybody see what it went for?

It wasn't on eBay. I think it was at an auction house, but I don't know which one or for what amount it sold.

I would say $10,000-$15,000 is a fair estimate. Recently one of the Upper Deck US History 1/1 presidential signature cards sold for around $15,000. I think it was Washington, but I'm not sure.

This might sound sad, but I thought it would go for more than $10,000 or $15,000. Not that that is not a lot of money or anything, I just expected more. Interesting. Does anyone have links to those ones they saw that sold?

You could do a completed items search on eBay, but the vast majority of autograph there are fakes.

And there is only 1 die cut from Disney Treasures, right? Well, no. Not technically. There was one in Disney Treasures 1 and there was 1 in the first Boxed Set. So technically, there are 2 Walt Disney cut signatures from Upper Deck available. and to me, $10,000 seems very high -but Disneyana collectors are a very avid bunch, so maybe it would go that high - just not to a card collector I would think. |

And if I did, it would become a part of my personal collection, although I don't know if I could resist not trying to get that kind of money for it. Don't worry, I didn't pull it, but it would have been nice. |
