I'm confused by the moving conversations Huh

Just think of it as post apparation  ROFL!

This was under Pear Tree Leafs but got a bit off subject and drifted towards SS box incentives.

I emailed Artbox about card ratios and this is what I got back:

Hello

The product will be released this week, and the approximate ratio of the autos are 5 per case, costume, prop, or film in every 24 packs.

Thank you for your interest in our products.

So is that 5 autos per case and one costume, prop or film card per box?

Note that they say a costume, prop, or film in every 24 packs, not one costume per box!! very sneaky artbox!

Nope they are saying one of those insert cards per 24packs, they are not guaranteeing one per box...so there is still a chance of getting a dud box, depending on how the packs are..well..packed. It will probably/most likely fall one per box, but artbox are not officially stating it...

Well that is how I see it anyway  Roll Eyes

That's exactly right.  If there were a guarantee of one or more inserts per box, it would be clearly stated in the literature or on the box.

I think there was an error in the email that ArwenEvenstar received (there have been errors in other emails).  We have a statement from an Artbox VP that there are five autos, five costumes and five props per case.  The FilmCardz (which are not the same as the filmcards that were inserted in the update boxes) are supposed to be inserted three per case.  I take this to mean that each box should have one prop or one costume PLUS some boxes will also have an auto and/or FilmCard.

We should have a better idea by Thursday or Friday! Smiley

Does any company "guarantee" the # of inserts?  I know Inkworks guarantees at least one complete base set, but I don't know of any company that can guarantee inserts.  If they did they would get hundreds of customers who were claiming they didn't get any inserts.

I know Arbox certainly seems to have more dud boxes than anyone else, but does any company guarantee anything?

I bought a case of Robots: The Movie.  One of the boxes was missing a sketch card.  I wrote to Inkworks about this and they sent me a sketch card.  There web site guaranteed one sketch card per hobby box.

Rittenhouse Archives has The Quotable Star Trek TNG set and their hobby boxes guarantee one costume and one auto per box (it's written on the box).

well, I didn't know that, how do they avoid people just lying and saying they didn't get an insert?

I suppose if Artbox did that they would have to keep back some of the cards, but it would probably be like a Lupin jacket or something of little or no value.
