Yeah, I thought it was a great episode! I can't wait til next week About the raft - does that mean we don't see those characters next season? Maybe not, as the preview showed Sawyer jumping back from the raft... and I really liked Jin, Walt Sawyer and Michael as well... Not to sound superficial or anything, but was it just me that found Sawyer with his shirt off as more than a little bit... breathtaking?

oh yes .............. rarrrrr.. very nice haha i thought last week was the last ep, so three more is a bonus Its funny that you say that Kate cause I thought the same thing last week but I had only seen like one ad for it so I thought I was mistaken...maybe not though if you thought the same as well. It may be something in the Melbourne water though to make us hallucinate and think we have heard and seen something that just was not there! Jo, did you think that last weeks was the last ep....(please say yes so I know im not crazy)

there must be something in the water hallucinations and excessive drooling it must have been the way it was advertised that made it seem like the end....

Season finale... all I can say is two words... FEBRUARY 2006 I can't wait that long I wonder what they wanted with Walt - we know that he has special abilities, but what? did you guys remember that he didn't want to leave the island (and burnt the first raft) then all of a sudden decided that he wanted to go? Hmmm... strange. Perhaps they were MEANT to meet up with those people... Also, I hope Sawyer wasn't shot :'( And the ladder... hmmm... and Claire - what did they want with her? So many questions that are unanswered!

Loved the finale...thought it was fantastic!! I was so shocked when they took Walt....and I cant believe that Charlie took one of those statues with the drugs in it...bad charlie bad!!
Well the monster that chases them sounds to me like it is mechanical...it just sounded like that in the last ep like it was some kind of machine....but there was some black whispy smoke stuff that looked pretty freaky

I thought last nights ep was really good. I had read somewhere what was down the hatch, computers etc but that linkage between Jack and the guy that was down there was great! And the part where Shannon saw walt was scary

I noticed that you checked out a spoiler thread, naughty girl Apparently when Walt's "message" is played backwards, he says "Dont push the button, the button is bad"....wander what it means? The Jack/Desmond thing was really cool-right before we saw it was him, I said to my mum, sounds like the guy from the flashback

Sorry to crash your thread girls but I was curious. There was a big discussion on what Walt said when it first aired in the US, and I believe what he said was more like "Push the button. Don't push the button. Bad." So we still don't know if it's bad or good.

On a radio station in Melbourne this morning, they supposedly actually played it backwards, and thats what it said... but then, can you trust the radio? A few interesting notes I found after googleing "dont push the button...": --The SUV driver killed in the crash that injured Jack's future wife, Sara, was named "Adam Rutherford"--the same last name as Boone and Shannon. In season 1, there's a mention that their father had died, leaving their mother all his money. --Freeze-framed, the label on the drug Desmond administers to himself at the beginning of the episode reads: CR 4-81516-23 42 FOR INJECTION RX-1 --More numbers: The last number Desmond turns the safe combination to is 42. The driver of the SUV was pronounced dead at 8:15AM. It looks like Desmond typed in 4 8 15 16 23 and 42 and then hits the EXECUTE button on the keyboard right after he wakes up. When Desmond gets on the bike, he cycles up to 16 mph something to think about...

Sorry I didn't check in last week... I was working so someone taped it for me and I just watched that one and today's back to back What can I say Riveting stuff. Check out http://au.yahoo.com/lost/video/ for a sneak peek (the 'one stray bullet can really ruin your day' clip; the other is just the preview clip you see at the end of tonight's ep) I was so relieved that Sawyer was alive (although I was terrified that Michael accidentely shot him!) and also Jin. Now we finally get to see who the *others* are. And find out why they are on the island. Now, is it just me, or does no-one else believe that we will find this out for a while? Interesting points Kate, especially the 'Adam Rutherford' link. In other, kind of related news, my Sawyer autograph arrived today

Nope not much there...except the connection between Hurley and Locke (the boss, Randy, and the box company)...and the 23 tailies...
I was glad to see the hubby alive too...its strange how some people just know
I thought we were meant to find out why Hurley went to the mental institution...was it just becuase of the gnomes? I got a little distracted so maybe I missed something...

I'm being really thick, but what was the connection between Locke and Hurley? None of the names you mentioned are ringing a bell Poor Sun... but next week's ep looks like its going to be fantastic! I look forward to seeing the real 'others'
