Hmm the WETA site has gone down completely now How completely useless... I thought this was how they always made their sales. All 2000 at once.... so why has this knocked them out? Just found this info on another board: Dear Customers, We are experiencing an excessive amount of server issues with the pre-order of Pippin, Guard of the Citadel. As a result, we have taken the website offline while we solve the problem. At this time, no orders are being placed for the Pippin statue, and he has not sold out. If you cannot wait and want to place your order please try customer service: 800 474-3746 for US customers and 1-805-418-1940 for International Customers. Please be patient with the customer service representatives. The site should be back up in about 20 minutes to take orders again. Thanks for your patience, Chris |

Right - looks to me like they are back up, running and running smoothly and NOT Sold out of Pippin.
I heard that they expect to sell out later today or early Wed so it looks like there's no mad rush but that you ought to get yourselves over there in a timely manner.

Well - I am really surprised that he's taking this long to sell out 0- but they are down to their last few.  Those who have seen him upclose say he's surprisingly awesome, the sword and chainmail are especially cool so people seem to think this will be more popular when people see it in the flesh And fair dos too - that's not a flattering face shot |
