Blackcat:  War of the Worlds is a classic book by H.G. Wells that was turned into an outstanding movie for its time in the 1950's.  It is about a Martian invasion of Earth and how they almost wiped out mankind!  I would recommend you visit your local video rental store to to rent the movie and enjoy.  The special effects are outstanding!   Smiley

HG Wells was a genius!

But for cheesy classic-ness the award has to go to the musical re-arrangement of the story of the war of the worlds... I HAVE to dig that out!
