What days are everyone wishing they could set their Time turners forward to? Myself (in order of Aus release): 1. Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (2nd June): I love this series... and I am really looking forward to hearing Alan Rickman provide the voice for Marvin the Paranoid Android ;D;D. Warwick Davis (Professor Flitwick) plays the actual character on screen, but I think Alan's 'Snape' voice will be perfect for a suicidal robot 2. Charlie and the Chocolate factory (1st Sept): Apart from being one of my favourite books EVER - Johnny Depp as Willy Wonka and Christopher Lee as Willy Wonka's father (This didn't appear in the book, but any Chris Lee appearance is great ) 3. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (24th Nov): It's Harry Potter.

I am observing a SEVERE lapse in judgement here! I heard that Pirates of the Caribbean 2 is out by the end of the year... I demand to know why it's not on your list?! Ditto on the Hitchikers Guide... but I am also looking forward to the magisc roundabout for a thoroughly relaxing, charming 2 hours

Star Wars 3 and of course Harry Potter. I don't ever go to the movies, I wait for DVD, but these are the only two movie series I feel need to be seen in the theatre.

Here's some more info on the 'Magic Roundabout' movie - more Kyloe centred than anything I have no idea what it is about because as far as I know it was not released here in Aus, or not to my knowledge/during my lifetime. Can anyone enlighten me at all? And think about the possibility of a signature set release!

I had heard that Cards Inc were hoping to get a signature set for the Magic Roundabout but I don't know if that's gone ahead at all. Hmm the magic roundabout was slightly before my time, being the sprightly 24 year old that I am (note - slight sarcasm in that note as I feel like death warmed up right now). But as far as I know it is a VERY VERY VERY well loved childrens programme and at the end of each episode I believe they said "and Zeberdy said... time for bed". But what happened during the rest of the episode is anybody's guess Most wanted sigs for this release: Robbie Williams, Kylie Minogue (chortle), Ian McKellen (snigger).

oh and I forgot to say, we saw the very teasing teaser trailer for the Hitchikers Guide when we went to see meet the fockers at the weekend. It was very teasing, and didn't even show a single actor.... just showed the world getting blown up ready for a highway to be built... charming! Oh and the number 42 was there in stars in the background Does anyone know which books this is going to cover? Thanks R

Roz, I assume they are just going to cover the first.... but they could do a Lemony Snicket and do a couple... looking at the character list on imdb, it looks like they are only going to do the first one!

Really? But doesn't the first book end with them deciding to go out for a meal at the restaurant at the end of the Universe? It's definitely not a logical place to stop a movie (or a book for that matter...)

It does, but Hitchhikers is a weirder book than most I would not put it past them to do that to us

Don't forget about Tim Burton's Corpse Bride: http://corpsebridemovie.warnerbros.com/http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0121164/I don't know what I'm going to do with myself ... two Tim Burton films and only about a couple months apart! For all you Johnny Depp fans, he provided the voice for the protagonist, Victor!

I forgot about that one and you even showed me the trailor Yeah, I have to admit Tim Burton does a really good job and I would like to add "Corpse Bride" to my list of movies for 2005.
