I won this auction, but I was wondering if I paid too much?  You see I placed my bid ($10 over the previous bid) about 3 hours before the auction was over but then I had to logoff the computer.  I was sure I would be outbid, but I had fun bidding on it.  Well I logged back in this morning and found out I won! Shocked  No one bid in the 3 hours! Huh   I was using the price guide as a reference and I thought what I bid was reasonable (still a bit low).  What do you guys think?

Hi Anna,

no, you didn´t pay too much. I guess, you would have to pay a little more if you try to buy them in 10 single auctions. It´s just the fact that not so many people need all 10 cards together. So there are not so many bidders on auctions like this. I think, you made the right decision, the price is not too much. Smiley

NO that looks a good price to me.

I don't really know why people sell master sets or blocks of autos etc on ebay as they always seem to sell for less, but I daresay it's because one auction is easier to manage and pack than 10!

Thanks for responding.  I feel much better now.  The only autos I had were Bonnie Wright, Robert Hardy and Matthew Lewis, so I figured that for me it was a good deal.  I just started collecting the original set (much easier than the update set - less cards).  Now that I have all of the autos I can focus on the costumes and props. That was very good - you already have a master set of autos - nice one... but the props may be a tad trickier.... many are VERY VERY pricey!

Beautiful set though!

I know that I was pretty much on my own in saying that the permission slip was my fav prop in that set, everyone loved the Daily Prophet... I wonder whether that's changed now we have a second issue daily prophet!
