Yes, with few exceptions, I count each and every wrapper by hand - sometimes with the help of my 7 year old (we're working on counting by 2's, so it's a really good practical example!)

I have certain clients who I know, each and every time, they've submitted wrappers have been perfect and so I may just skim their wrappers to make sure all are in tact and the right wrappers (ie, no Fleer or Artbox wrappers), but generally, I'm counting them all. I did run the numbers to see how many wrappers I had counted last year and although I don't have the numbers here, I do recall it was over a hundred thousand - probably closer to 150,000.

I haven't got the heart to do that - i think i'll keep them in a box in the cupboard until the technology to recycle not-paper/not-foil - material is introduced full scale...
