Hee hee - dont' worry we'll remember to gloat come our Summer time Wink

Yes Merry Christmas everyone.

What do different nationalities do on CHristmas day?

I always try to take a walk on the beach after lunch but we are restricted by lack of light (woo hoo for the Northern Latitudes... ahh it's worth it for tlong summer evenings) and limited by having to see the Queen's speech too  Undecided

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!   Smiley  It has been a pleasure speaking with so many of you over this past year and I look forward to doing the same in the coming New Year.

We like to go to Midnight Service Christmas Eve.  Christmas Day weather permitting we love to hike up to Bald Mountain which affords a beautiful panoramic view of the mountain pass and surrounding mountains.   Smiley  We have had some heavy snowfall the last two days so if it is clear we will need to use snowshoes and crampons.

Happy Holidays to all!!

I am actually Jewish and celebrate Hanukkah, however since we were the only Jewish family in town, my parents didn't want us to feel different growing up, so we always did Christmas too.  Now, my sister brother and I all married Catholics, so we continue with the tradition!!  I spend my day going from family members house to the next house and exchange gifts.  Then, we have a dinner at my in-laws and celebrate my brother-in-law's birthday, which happens to be the same day.

As for the weather, it will be 59 degrees F tomorrow, and will be 27 degrees F by Saturday.  So although it will be okay tomorrow, we are in for an extremely cold Christmas day.  Sorry, I don't know what that would be in celcius.
