 Hi Guys

So having missed out on Minas Morgul  :'( I was surfing the SW website and see that this goes online at 9 am tomorrow (EST I believe... whatever time that is Wink)

http://sideshow.directtrack.com/z/11018/CD974/

They look quite cool and I'd buy one of them - Faramir's of course - so they release them as a set Wink I also quite like the standard Gondorian one!

They don't give you an idea of price at all which is quite useless but they do tell you they are making only 1000 which apparently in WETA terms that's very rare Wink

Have they done mini helm collections before and are they any good?

Thanks

Roz

Just checked this one out and the set costs $120.00 plus postage.  The set will ship in the 2nd quarter of 2005.  They do look nice!   Smiley

Rob:

Were you able to get your order in?  I passed on this as there is just so much LOTR's stuff out there that I can't collect it all.   Sad

Well Rob I can't fault you for your taste!   Smiley  The Sideshow items as you know are first class and great looking as well.  I see this item sold out very quickly!

I have been pretty selective in my Sideshow purchases due to their cost and have concentrated on a few of my favorite characters as I spend way too much money on so many other LOTR's items from the CCG to Topps Auto & Clothing cards, pewter figure, 6", 8", 12" figures, the Sabertooth Battle game, the entire Gameswork Shop figure line, movie posters and banners, art prints, puzzles, games, weapons, gosh I could go on and on.

I have the Sideshow Gandalf the Grey, Boromir, Aragorn, and King Elessar statues.  I also have The Arms of Aragorn and The Arms of The Fellowship 2 sets.  I have The Golden Hall, Helm's Deep, Mines of Moria, Minas Tirith, and soon Minas Morgul Enviornments.  I have the Cave Troll's Hammer and soon King Elessar's Crown.  Add to that the free pieces from The Collector's Edition of The Fellowship and The Two Towers.

I never liked the busts for some reason and would rather collect the full sized figure of a character.  What have you been collecting from Sideshow?
