To those who have read it I say this:

25-6-32-36-25-1-25-10-68-51-126-112-10-32-25-1

To those who haven't read it - I suggest you hop to a book shoop post haste!

Although I don't think you really get "classic Dan Brown" until chapter 115

Hey Roz:

Does that decipher to "Send me all of your Fellowship Auto Cards" by any chance?   Wink

The only thing I didn't like about DF was that there was constant talk of Spain as an uncivilized country. I think I'd like him to actually VISIT Spain, it looks an awful lot like many parts of America to me! I have visited Spain myself several times, and always loved it - sure the pace of life is slower, but they live on a different timescale to us - they take a huge break in the middle of the day but work all evening.

I found it rather insulting, I am glad he got his facts more correct with his later books on Italy and France

Roz:

In what context was Spain labled an uncivilized country?  You mentioned constant talk of this in the book - what was he making reference to?

When you read it you will realise that some Spanish person obviously VERY BADLY upset Dan Brown. He describes the place as equipped with poor medical facilities, smelling unpleasant, and generally inefficient and uncivilised. You really can't miss it!

Good book but not if you are of Spanish descent.

Keep in mind he was not referring to Spain in general, just the area that the particular character was in at the time...
