As you probably know there's going to be a boxed set of all 3 ROTK EE. If you are feeling miffed that you have no slip case to keep them in (as you bought them as they went along) - apparently you are going to be able to get them separately for (apparently) $3. However this offer is only available in the USA. I wonder if any US members might be nice enough to act as postmasters Anyway, details of the offer will be here: http://www.lotrdvdbox.com/when the offer starts.

Roz: There is no info on the link, it just says coming December 14th! You would think they could have listed the price and other info!

Good point Ed! I was wondering if I could ask one of you to do the same for me please? I'll be happy to PayPal some money over (once you know how much it's going to cost! ) to cover it's price and shipping fees etc and I hope Roz can vouch that I'm a trustworthy person to deal with?! Please PM me to let me know if you can help and where to send funds to and I can let you know my home address and email details! I do hope it's not restricted like that Roz!! Thanks in advance!!

Well I just placed my order for the Trilogy Slipcover. The offer is good only in the USA. The Slipcover is free and you just pay $3.00 postage. They only allow 1 purchase per customer/email address/mailing address.

I think there are still a fair few Brit members without a way to get these.
Are there any US based HP fans (maybe we should link to this in the HP section) who can help out UK LOTR fans?

Mine has been ordered today! I have to thank a kind Ebayer I dealt with from the US, who has ordered it for me, and I dont need to pay until I receive it once it's been forwarded on. Sometimes ebay can do good!

hi all - been reading the forum for a bit but was just too lazy to register - did get round to register in the end but only only after numerous problems with password & many many tries!!
Anyway, on subject of these slipcases - I hope the ones you guys get from US will fit your DVDs! my cousin bought his Trilogy EE DVD boxset from Whsmith & though he likes the films, he's not as mad on LOTR. So he kindly donated me his slipcase as he was not bothered about keeping them together in the case.
Sadly & for some annoying reason, my 3 EE dvds which came individually with the statues etc.....does not fit in! I tried & gave up. I dont know but it seems the dvds I have are just marginally longer & to get them in would probably break the box. Anybody else have/experience similar problem?
So sadly he has the slipcase back now.
(Ps Thanks Goofyjas for pointing out this Forum!)

Hmm that's interesting!
I *think* the US DVDs are the same size as the UK DVD cases so we may have the same problem... fingers crossed though.
Although to be fair they are offering this to put the previously released 3 DVDs in so hopefully they will have sorted this out.
