3D lenticulars and widevision are ok but.......(snooooze).........Seems like Alan Lee and John Howe sketch cards in a future release would be a no brainer.  Make it a full on conceptual and production art set.  Maybe Topps would have to pay too much and it would take too long for only 2 artists to sketch enough cards to have them inserted at a reasonable ratio.  They could always bring on more artists from the production and have the Lee and Howe sketches be the high tier inserts.


Topps has already run Star Wars sketch cards into the ground in 2 releases (with a third on the horizon).  Why not LOTR too?
