Explanation of Sticards:

Its a new development, a trading card, with a peelable sticker on top.
Effectively you have two completely different sets - one sticker set and one card set.
Binders will be a mix of sticker pages for the stickers to be stuck in and poly pages for the cards to go in.

Sounds interesting.

Hmm - so they didn't get the proper Wallace and Gromit license... what a shame. I look forward to finding out who did Smiley

I hope whoever it is really goes for it on that one - this is the sort of set that can bring new UKites into trading cards - but all we ever get here in shops is retail type pap!

These are Cards Inc made products.

Surely Artbox is the one with the hobby release.  Grin

Well... if they make 300 cases or so and they had the license Artbox would do a great job I am sure...

If they make 1000 cases I'd buy on the secondary market Tongue

Please note that Cards Inc does have the W+G full license for new and classic but license at presents prohibits us to publish classic before the new movie

cool. I don't think collectors will be too interested in the sticards though... at least they certainly won't be peeling them! That sounds like something more for the newsagents stand than the dealers stall to me, don't you think?

I think that's because this is a list of what Cards Inc are producing, not what they will be selling Wink

Oh I dunno Mark, I'll queue for a set Wink but I always have been a big W&G fan... I hope I like the movie - when I watched Cracking Contraptions I wasn't as impressed as I used to be... I hope it's just that I watched too much W&G and Chicken run and I certainly hope it's not because  Shocked I might be...  Shocked growing up!

(that would make me BORING Wink)

Time to resurrect this thread? Well the trailer is out

http://www.uip.co.uk/wallaceandgromit/main_site/media/video/wallace_and_gromit_high.wmv

And I have to say I am wondering what CI have planned for the set. A piece of plasticine HELD AND MANIPULATED by none other than that genius Nick Park?  Grin splodged in the card? Or a priceless brown piece - screen used as Gromit's (ever so expressive) ear.

This has tonnes of potential as I know I'd go mad for a Nick Park auto, and obviously Ralph Fiennes, but we're never going to be that lucky are we  Roll Eyes
