Well the next HP set *was* planned for March April time - and it would be the Sorcerers (spit) Stone!

Though I think we shall have to see!

As I recall, the first POA set came out about a week or two before the movie premiered.  GOF is supposed to be released November 2005.

I heard like Next November, like the first and second came out around November 20th, because PoA came out 1 1/2 yrs later, they are spending 1 1/2 yrs from the release of PoA to film Gof, for another November release, Nov 2005, this may be due to all the digital effects (quidditch world cup and more), plus in PoA they had to hire on the new Dumbledore, and such

I have my reservations on whether i will buy any more artbox boxes.
The ratios are all out of whack and i would rather spend my money on buying the cards i want on ebay than to get more dud boxes .

Next November sounds about right.  Great time to get huge audiences over the Holidays but with Harry Potter's popularity I think you would get an outstanding attendance no matter what time of the year it was released.   Smiley

True, but I believe that they are saying that Lemony Snicket's 'A Series of Unfortunate Events' movie will give HP a run for its money - I love these books (shameless plug;)) and from what I can tell from the trailer, it looks fantastic. I think they will try to avoid releasing GoF at the same time as the next Unfortunate Events instalment.

I have not heard of "A Series of Unfortunate Events" until I saw the movie trailer recently as it opens very soon here.  What is this all about?  Is it that good that you think it will interfere with Harry Potter?  I find that hard to believe in light of the Harry Potter phenomenom
that I see in every type of store I go into selling everything from books, movies, music, cards, toys, ect!

As I said I had never heard of the other until the movie trailer and had not noticed any type of display for the books in any bookstore I have been in.  What am I missing?

savage, you should check out the books and/or movie! It's one of those staple books that I always see in bookstores and didn't give a chance until I needed an in-flight reading last year. It's not quite as popular as HP, but it has potential. Anyways, the cinematography for the new movie looks amazing. I watched some MTV special about it and ever since then, I have become very anxious for the release date.
