Kelly you could see Desmond in the preview for the season finally, it looked like he was carrying a gun and then it showed Sawyer aiming and firing a gun, not sure if that was supposed to be shooting at desmond.  I watched the preview 3 times in super slow mo, it also looked like Jin and Sayid were on the boat looking through binoculars.  Also looked like Kate was limp in Jacks arms (maybe she was shot) and there was a scene that looked like there was a huge mound of canisters (from the air transport pipes for messages that was in the other hatch perhaps?) or maybe there were mortar shells I couldn't tell exactly maybe it is not significant at all.   It will be an interesting 2 hours, I hope Michael gets what is coming to him.

Also what I can't figure is why Michael would think he could turn over the people on the list without an all out battle occuring.  Doesn't seem like he has given it much thought even being crazy micheal you would think he would give it a little thought.

Oh, good.  I guess I missed that part.  Time to go back and watch the recording.  Wink  Did anyone catch the website that was on the Hanso commercial?  I need to look at that again too.  Something like www.guidebyyourowncompass.com or abouts.  Someone post if they know it!

My tape cut off the last few minutes - no preview for me Sad

The last thing I saw was Hurley starting to talk about Libby...

I thought the questions Ms. Clue was asking about Walt were VERY interesting...

You got that right about answering some questions and raising a whole lot more!!  I have so many questions but will only ask a few as to what you think .  It looks like "Henry" is the leader of The Others by everyone ones actions and attitude around him!!  What the heck was that white light - it looked like an EMP (Electo-Magnetic Pulse) burst!!!   Shocked  Some nice high tech weapons The Others used to incapicate Hurley, Sawyer, Kate, and Jack!!  Micheal - that crud!!  He lead them right into the ambush!  Interesting to see that pile of the records the Hatch people were keeping!  Can you believe Locke's little note he sent in the air delivery system is just sitting there - like a little piece of paper would not blow away after all that time!!  Desmond's story was cool and what is his former girlfriends involvement at the end there?  Wow so many questions.  Oh - forgot the stupid idiot idea Mr. Eko had of using dynamite inside an enclosed space - even Charlie recognized the danger!!   Roll Eyes

Only then he was known as Joe Inman, instead of Kelvin; odd, very odd. I agree Savage, Desmonds story was pretty well done (though I wanted to know why he got thrown in the Brig; me thinks his story is not done being told Smiley. As for Eko, whilst I understand he was right, Locke was wrong (at least that is how it appears, no?), I have been liking the character of Eko less and less over the last half dozen episodes, which sucks, 'cause I started out really liking his character! Oh well, maybe S3 will prove him better. Smiley

Damn you're right Kelly - I forgot about Kelvin and Sayid!!!!   Tongue   Nice tie in there.

Darth:

Yea I feel the same way about Eko but I still like him and I think you are right about Desmond's story being expanded next season.

Unless I was mistaken, I believe Libby was the one who bought Desmond the cup of coffee and sat down to chat with him.  She said her name was Elizabeth.

Heh, maybe they worship the Simpsons on that island (who have four toes and fingers).  ROFL! Reminded me, actually, of the Simpsons episode where Lisa is reading a magazine that says in the future people would evolve to have five toes and fingers, and Homer said something like, "Ew, freak show."  Roll Eyes

Yeah that was funny, or the time Homer was pondering the marriage of his moher and father and he looked at his children and watched them turn into pink skinned 5 fingered 'freaks' ROFL!

I was trying to get a good look at the islander's toes to see if they had Hobbit-style prosthetic feet on with 4 toes, but I couldn't even tell on HD-TV Sad

Oh no, I thought Sawyer was just an a$$ but he actually seems to have been 'taken in' and slept with Ana Lucia almost as a rebound thing Shocked OOPS! That explains why he told Jack about Ana Lucia

The Heirogliphics that appear when the count down reaches zero are debateable in their meaning, but it seems to be a command to die.

How many computer games have you played or read books where you try to set sail from an island and can't leave ROFL! Michael was really shown up for the complete prat that he really is. Family is important, but how many lives would you sacrifice for your own selfishness? ARGH! I'm sure we will find out more about their journey 'out' but hopefully the less the better ROFL!

As he left and asked "what about my friends?" I smirked... I'm sure none of the four he left behind felt him a 'friend' at that point. I thought it was a tough choice for Hurley, but I was glad that Jack gave him an encouraging nod.

I'm really happy that we understand why the plane crashed though Grin that's real progression. I loved BOTH episodes a great deal - I wonder if JJ Abrams was back on board for that one?

Nope, JJ was still filming MI3.  I read that in one of the Ask Ausiello or Ausiello Report columns.  Warning - there are LOTS of spoilers for LOTS of shows there...

Wow then all the better!

When Jack attends to some of Henry's wounds he tells Henry that he's going to "the line" to tell them that they have Henry and that he'd like Walt back in trade.

Henry turns to Jack after chuckling to himself and says "they'll never give you Walt"

Which rather implies to me that even Walt and Michael have been led into a trap - thye gave Walt up so easily considering he's "so special"

I wonder if we'll ever find out what Libby was doing in the mental health institute, but since we know she was widowed very young - perhaps it was that  Undecided

There's the latest trailer - it looks like Locke got out ok, no sign of Eko or indeed Desmond, but I hope they got out ok, especially since Desmond's story was hotting up Grin

Forgot to post this but I enjoyed watching Wednesday's LOST episode as it was a one hour special giving the viewer a summation of who the characters are and what has transpired during the first two seasons.   Smiley   Excellent lead in to next weeks Season 3 opener!   Smiley
