lol I was finding out about sending a parcel to the UK and noted the following regulations!

"Live queen bees must be accompanied by an import license issued by a UK Government Agricultural Department and a health certificate issued by the appropriate Government Department of the country of origin stating that the bees are free of disease. "

LOL - can you imagine opening up your parcel to find a flipping great angry bee in there  Undecided

I think you can ship them in a container that has been cooled to keep their activity very low.

I nominate MaktheYak as our head BeeKeeper and invite Forum Members from all over the world to send him samples of your countries bees!   Smiley  Should make a fine collection but I don't think your local Postman will be very happy especially if one or more of the packages become undone!!   Wink

Hey Sonarghost:

The Bee Shack has a nice ring to it!   Smiley  Do you remember the song by the B-52's - "The Love Shack"?  That tune is running through my mind with the words Bee Shack & YakShack instead!!   Smiley

I won't pretend that on long journeys when the radio has had no signal we haven't sung love shack... and once changed it to Yak Shack!

But never mind  Undecided

Ok Roz I will not go down that path and as for you Mark - I think you are going to have to ask your better half about that!   Wink
