Well when I am on the laptop ( like now) I cant save addys so i go through google to find the shack ( yea I am lazy ok?) Anyway I have noticed that the shack has gone from 3... to 2.. to the top one!
does that mean when people search that is what they visit most? like the closest match?

Awwwwwwwwww I thought that you meant when you had released the first ever Yak Shack music single it had gone straight in at number 1 BAH Anyway - Mark would explain this better than I - but our location on google depends upon how many links we have to the forum from other sites - and it also depends on how high profile those sites are. I think at the moment we have a fair few links to here from ebay, so that is probably why we are number one - so keep including us as your link guys

Wow - look at the power! We are there before Inkworks, or even the CI website themselves in that search - this is fantastic! But I must wonder Ben what on earth led you to type in that search ?

I'm now *since yesterday* a big fan of Darren and how he has made it, luck and beating everyone else to new ideas, i just wondered if there was any info on our little entrepreneur. Darren Epstein Age: 33 Company: Cards Inc Focus: Manufacture and distribution of trading and game cards Inspired by a trip to the US, Epstein started Cards Inc in 1989. Through organic growth and several acquisitions in recent years, it is now a major retail force with a turnover of £19.9m to July 2004 – growth of 20% on the previous year. Epstein believes the keys to the company’s success have been its ability to react ahead of competitors to secure licences for new products, and the fact that it provides a one-stop-shop for collectors and retailers. The dudes a legend in the Card World, hats off for him *cough* Employ me

Are you QUITE finished on the Darren adoration thread young Benjamin? Shall I leave you some rose petals on TYS Memorabilia table for the Sunday so that you can scatter them at his feet and make him a rose petal footpath around the NEC? I bet if you ask Olly nicely he'll introuduce you to your newfound hero... now try not to faint upon sight or stammer when trying to say "hello"

Liam, I think it's because you are in a web ring of webcomics all interlinking! Mark had to get to the top of all those rubbish sites who call their forums "yak shacks" Oh honestly

It was a lot harder to get to the top of a search for "yak shack" (with a space) than for a search for "theyakshack" (no spaces). The search for Mak The Yak is still returning results for this company that makes childrens clothes! Tut.

As with any successful enterprise it is the quality of the people and the support infastructure which make it a go. Congrats to all for making this a fun place to be!
