Creature Cards Grimm Fur and Buckbeak

It certainly seems like these cards are not inserted as they should be:  to clarify if there are approx 900 (rounding) grimm fur cards and 400 buckbeak cards there would be a total of around 1,300 creature cards.  Assuming there are 1700 cases (approx what we have heard).

Based on these numbers the creature cards should be inserted
grimm fur: every other case
Buckbeak's Feather - 1 every 4 cases

Assuming good collation every 4 cases opened should yield 3 creature cards.

I have opened 6 cases and only have 1 Grimm Fur :'(

What does everyone else think?  Are these shorter printed than the numbers indicate?

I went and checked out Gimli's summary of his 33 cases opened and he pulled

  CREATURE CARDS
2   Buckbeak Feather (390)
16   Grim Fur (880)

So I guess the Grimm Fur ratio was about right (I am not very lucky as stated many times)

But the Buckbeaks should have been about 1 in 4.  Gimli should have had about 8 buckbeaks feather creature cards (are these numbered over what there are out there?)

6 cases and no Grim fur!!!  You know, these may be inserted properly, but say the feather is 1 in 4 cases, and you get 5 cases, you might not get one at all.  But someone who orders 3 cases, might get three.  It is really luck of the draw of the cases that you actually get.  I could be wrong though.

Definately luck of the draw to an extent but of all the cases that have been opened by members I would guess we are well below 50% of the cases containing any creature cards

Surely over the total # opened by members coming from many different sources you would figure it would average out.

Beckham1, when you put it that way, it does make it look like there is something wrong. But you don't think they would of held any back, do you?  Is it possible there are more cases then we think

I guess i was lucky, I bought two cases, and got a buckbeak and a grimm fur.

Wow, after reading this, we definitely feel super lucky! My husband and I just opened the one case we bought and got a Grimm Fur and a Buckbeak Feather!

Yes feel very lucky I don't think anyone else has said they got both in one case :'(

I was looking for the thread from Darren from cards Inc on HP Update.  Can someone direct me to that post?
