do you think these auctions just have cheap props and sorted packs??? because $420 us seems steep, and would it be worth it to buy these lots???

Well, no one has ever heard of a box that isn't a hotbox that has more than 3 inserts in. So all you need to do is stop opening packs after the 3rd insert and Bob's Your Uncle.
I don't think for one minute these could be from a hotbox!!!
I was only about half way down the box when I had opened and found a Sirius auto, a George Costume and a Dervish and Banges bag. I didn't stop as I enjoy opening the packs

No Way!
He has got inserts out of each box and if he got two he would stop with opening packs and keep the packs for sale, so basically you will be lucky to pull anything other foils

I don't trust these auctions - agree with all the opinions above... stay well away if you don't want to be ripped off!

There are a couple of things to consider. One, where did the seller get the inserts he/she is including in the auction? Maybe from the packs that person has already opened? I took a very quick look in the feedback section at the auction links. It doesn't appear that this person has purchased any HP cards through eBay, but maybe I didn't look back far enough.
Two, the value of the inserts is around $200 or less for each auction, so you'd be looking at spending $220 (that's if the auction goes for the opening bid) for 40 packs that may or may not have been searched.
The seller has had many similar auctions, and I never understood the reason why he/she would open all those boxes, mix up the packs and sell them. What's the point of mixing the packs from different boxes?

Plus if you notice all the inserts that come with the auction are prop cards and costume cards, which are "pickable" while the autographs are not. It appears to be a sham to me. But I have been wrong once before
