The low FB may be an issue deciding the final price here. The only active FB item he has isn't very reassuring...

Aha - another grammar nut like myself! I was working last week in a function and there was a sign on the door warning people to be 'Quite please, function in progress' - aaargh! I flinched everytime I saw it!

CJD here, reporting in from the Costa del Hertfordshire.

This one tweaks my 6th sense for some reason. Not a straight out "wouldn't-touch-with-a-barge-pole" kind of way, but something worries me and I can't really say why.

The payment terms worry me in so much as how can anyone from overseas pay if the only method of payment accepted is a personal cheque ? Also, not much protection against any wrong-doing if you pay by cheque. I suppose we all get nervous when there's this sort of money involved.

Gosh, is it sunny there in Spayne?  Grin  Cool

I do know what you mean but I think the number of the card does tie in with those bought from Cards Inc....

... what we could really do with is the number of a number 21 peartree coming along Wink

WOULD THE OWNER OF A PEARTREE CARD REGISTRATION 21/30 PLEASE VISIT THE CUSTOMER SERVICES DESK  Grin

Seriously we don't really have any reason to doubt them, except the high value of the auction, the inexperience/unproven track record of the seller or the worrying auction payment terms though.

You never know - he might be genuine Wink it's not *quite* so dicy as that unnumbered card Tongue

I have just heard that this guy is a ye olde fashioned off ebay dealer most of the time (I didn't really know it was possible!!!), and I have heard the source of his card, so it should be A OK to go ahead and bid.

You know that if you don't I will Tongue
