Im not very fond of Topps either, but I truly cant wait for this set! Thanks for the news, Bryan! Depp auto here I come!

So the memorabilia cards are probably going to be material used to make, huh? I wonder if there will be prop cards? Im not really familiar with Topps' inserts when it comes to cards like this.

I agree on the material used to make Jon. I would put money on that.

As far as props go, Topps has never really done them. The Tire from the Batmobile from the Batman Begins set is the closest to a prop I can think of, but man a piece of a coin from the chest in the first one would be pretty awsome. I would imagine it would have to be coming out SOMETIME soon...the DVD comes out Dec 4th, so I would imagine they are doing the set to coinside with the release of the dvd.

Yes! That would be a fantastic prop. I really hope they get all of the big name actors to sign, and not just minor characters. This will be an expensive set if that is the case.

I didn't notice this before, but Previews said it would be available only in the U.S., Canada, and U.S. territories.

Hate Topps, but I'll have to get a base set... doubt the rest will be of interest to me ESPECIALLY considering Topps' new policy of autograph stickers and many of the LONG odds for pulling "name" actors/actresses.....

Woah, woah, woah. Their going to be stickers? I sincerely hope not. Maybe Im not as interested as I thought. Stickers are so cheesy.

Lets cross our fingers for autographs on the cards.

Hopefully preorders aren't through the roof so that the case run is huge.

I really want to get excited about this set, but I'm a little wary.

I don't like the idea of "sticker" autos and I'm kind-of thinking that there will be either dud boxes or many boxes with common inserts.

Hi

Well I was really pleased to hear this news then to hear it was from Topps I was like "uh ohh" which wasnt made better by the fact there wont be any sketch cards in the set, which means we are likely to get one insert per box with the odds of the big signers being slightly astronomical. Sorry to be totally sceptical but until I hear about the actual signers and the memorabilia Cards I wont be ordering any. As an example Batman Begins averaged one big insert per box I got 1 auto per case and the rest either Batman Capes or batmobile Tyres.

Not sticker autos!!! They're horrible! Tongue

Why couldn't Inkworks have gotten the license - now THEY know what they're doing!

yeah, but inkworks might not have the ability to get in the big names like Topps can.

I won't mind a sticker auto if it is Depp/Knightly
