First off I am a newbie.. Very nice to find a site with so many Potter collectors like myself.. Now for my question.. I just busted a case of the new ootp. It is #P5. Umbridges doily. #d 117/160.. The back is right. BUT the front has the pic from the Umbridge costume AND says authentic costume card on the bottom. But the piece is a doily piece.. Very weird card. Anyone else seen this in any of the Potter releases?? Not sure how to add a pic but if someone sends me there email addy I will send it to them to post..Thanks for the help.... I will post my case breakdown shortly...Mike

Hi Mike, welcome to the Shack!  The card you have would be considered an error card, since it's obviously an error that the wrong front was attached to the card.  You could ask Artbox for a replacement (it is a limited prop), but some collectors might pay a lot of money to get a card like that.

If you would like to post pictures/scans here, it's fairly easy.  You can sign up for an account at a photo hosting site, like Photobucket, then upload your scans.  Each picture will have links you can copy and use on eBay, for blogs, and on the forum.  To add a photo to a message, you simply copy and paste the IMG link right into the post.  If you have any questions about it, please feel free to PM and I'll help you with it. OK I try it..Not the best pics my camera is very old. But you can tell the piece is a doily prop and not the costume.

Shocked yeah, another error card like the karkaroff costume cards from GoF.  i think i would keep this one!!  much better than the karkaroff costume as its prop mixed with costume and not just a different costume in the card. also a limited number, 160 and not 800 ( i think it was 800 for karkaroff's).
i think this would sell high on  Ebay! for those collectors wanting for their true master set. Wink
brilliant pull imo Grin

Very interesting.  Smiley  Some people love those kind of error cards and you might get a good price for it on Ebay.  I remember the Karkaroff card!  But if it's something you really like, then definately hang onto it.

How wonderful. Don't dream of sending it back. Either keep it as something special, or I suppose you could sell it.

Post a link in Diagon Alley.  I'm not into error cards, but it'll be fun to watch.  Smiley

well whet do you think of this one I just received my incentives at last and my bellatrix mask Ci3 has the wrong font on it. It as the picture of one of the prop mask cards on it.

I will scan it later  but it does have the bellatrix mask piece in it

Well it all boils down to this really Chris - are you into collecting error cards then if you are I'd keep it. On the other hand if you aren't, then I foresee an interesting bidding war erupting when you list it for sale!!  Wink Grin

I think I will be selling it as  I have no interest beyond ooooohhhhhhh isn't that interesting

so I think I will probably list it

the front is from a xxx/100 and the back is 089/130 so it is quite a rare card really before you even look at it as an error card
