I think somebody had a brain-fart moment when they numbered the accompanying letters to those autos, don't you?  Roll Eyes
Makes you wonder just how accurate the number really are doesn't it?  Undecided

yes, brain-fart or typo.
i don´t suppose it really matters anyway.

why don´t artbox issue insert ratios for autos or number them like the other props and costumes?  or maybe they could just say how many each person signed, now there´s a novel idea!

If I remember correctly didn't Artbox release the exact numbers of Autographs for the Charlie and the Chocolate set. Shame they can't just do that with the Harry Potter cards.

Now that bit I hadn't noticed  Shocked.  I have double checked my letter and it is definitely 122.  This makes a bit of a mockery of getting a numbered letter in the first place  Sad.  You are right it doesn't really matter, I just like to keep the letter with the auto and think I am the only one with a letter with that number - any variant will do  Wink

Mine arrived on the 5 June which was last Monday and they were sent to Artbox about 3 weeks ago, so they came back very quickly.

mine arrived back on the 4th june which was monday.  did you mean monday 4th or tuesday 5th??

what i should have asked, which is more relavant, is the date on the letters that came back.  mine were dated 31/05/07.

they (artbox) probably have a standard letter on file then just change address and number (not all the time though) Wink

strange Huh dated a day earlier with the same number and arrived a day later.  not sure where you live, but if its the US then it makes it more Huh cos of the postage time.

if you are in the UK then the turn around time was fast Shocked

so, as you said before it makes a mockery of getting the letter in the first place.  but i suppose that sums up artbox and thier HP series of cards and customer service Hopping Mad

I am in Essex, although technically it is London ie we have to pay for Red Ken and all the London taxes but don't get any of the benefits of a London borough even though we are one and I should really remember to take a breath when I rant about our Mayor and all the money he is spending on the Olympics and silly flashing logos and bendy buses that are 80% more dangerous than normal buses along with his absolutely insane building program of high rise flats when we are still pulling down all the 1960's flats that were not fit for human habitation.

So to summarise - I am in London and yes they did send them back very quickly  Grin Grin

I sent all 6 of mine off a month ago (completely forgot about them to be honest).  I got them back on Tuesday but the letters were numbered as follows

Lockhart AR-564
Ginny AR-565
Sprout AR-566
Dudley AR-567
Myrtle - AR-568
Percy AR-569

Not giving anything away there then...

It looks as if they stopped issuing autograph specific letters and are now just lumping them all together.
Another example of "customer care" ?
