Last monday? A week? Maybe he's on holiday. He's a member here so he'll probably be in touch. A day is not long to reply Wink

I think it's a little too soon to worry.  Yes, the seller should respond to your emails, but look at the timing.  The earliest he could have mailed the base set was last week Tuesday.  Most sellers can't get to the post office every day, so it may have been a few days before the package was shipped.  Add to that the holiday rush which often slows down the postal service and it isn't surprising that you haven't received your cards yet.

If it were me, I'd wait until Saturday and then file an "item not received" claim.  At the very least, the seller should send you an email after that.

Thanks for that I will give that ago on saturday. Hope I don't have to do that though.

I've bought at least 3 different occasions from him and although it's true he wasn't very fast with his emails, me getting cards all the way to Canada has never been a problem

I have bought many, many items from him. I have yet to require it be sent as a matter of life and death. Sometimes the problem is not the sellers. I do agree that he/she ought to respond to e-mails. I bought an item from a dealer in California; it was sent  on Oct 17, The post office has a tracking date and time. It was sent priority mail, delivery confirmation. About the 17th of November the seller asked me to give feedback. Naturally, I informed him tha the item had not arrived. He/she sent me the PO tracking number, sure enough it had been received by the PO. I suggested that they check the post office. Another week, still no item. I told the seller it had no arrived. They offered me a refund. I said wait. Then I saw an item they had that I wanted and said give me credit for it toward the item I wanted. I then waited another 4 days and, BINGO! The item arrived, it looked as if it had been trampled by a herd of elephants, filthy, dirty, etc.
I opened the item and it was well packaged and in perfect condition. The po, it turns out had misapplied surface parcel post service instead of Priority mail. Now, in another case I got an e-mail alert from ebay saying that an item had been cancelled because the was some evidence that the seller's account had been tampered with. Ebay said that I should not complete the transaction if I had not paid for it, Further, that if I had paid for it I should ,in my case, file an action with PAYPAL to get a buyer protection refund. Now here is the catch. Since Ebay cancelled the item it removed all data about the item: the listing; seller ID; etc. The only thing I had was the item number and the Paypal transaction number. I just did as you did, opened a dispute. Guess what happened next? Bear in mind that the item was paid for on Nov 17th and I got this message on Dec 5. I figured maybe ebay could be correct and also could be wrong. So, I did a dispute only. Guess what happened the next day? Yep, the item arrived in perect condition. It was mailed on Nov 27 from Canada. I closed the dispute, I am sure glad I didn't apply for a refund.  Lips Sealed Roll Eyes
Anyway, I hope that you get your item. I have personally bought lots of items from Scouse691. I have always received them but, he/she is at best slow.  Perhaps they have a full time occupation. Nah, can't have a second job.   Grin We all know that those card dealers make money hand over fist and don't even have time to count.  ROFL! ROFL!

Have you tried getting his details from Ebay and giving him a call?

I am still waiting for a LotR Masterpieces Sketch I paid for on the 27/11/06.

I had to pay for Special Delivery Next Day delivery, and it still has not arrive yet.

I have also sent emails, and have contated Paypal to get my money back.

I will never buy from him again, and this has been the worst purchase I have had in over 8 years on  Ebay!

Dave.
