Yeah, the RESIN boxes are nothing special as far as cards go.
They do look impressive though up close and in person.

Oh the case is beautiful. Pretty heavy too so it's as well I got it from the UK and not the US. Would have cost a fortune to ship! |

Well, except for the absence of coin cards from 4 boxes, it looked eerily familiar. This was my case, down to all of the same autos, costumes, and props. This was Anna's case, down to all of the same autos, costumes, and props. Rich With Cards Case 2 = telk Case GRYFFINDOR FOREVER Case = jfer21 Case = dis68 Case HPfamily Case = Tower Case = Rich With Cards Case 1 Saturnine Case = LikORish-Spider Case 1 Other cases match on the autographs but not on the costumes/props. I don't think you can say that collation was "lousy" just because of the duplicated costumes and autos. If you run the numbers, there weren't enough higher-numbered costume cards to put 10 different into every case. They would have run out of scarcer costume cards early. Same thing for the dupes on "common" autos - for the total print run, they couldn't put 5 different in every case. Of course, it might have been better if they had planned the set so that they could have made cases without dupes in the high chase. |
