It might not be scratched off. It could be a spot where a nail or screw attached a plate to the trophy.

More lovely cards I haven't been very impressed with the Yule Ball Programs up to now, I think they need to be seen in the flesh. But that one looks absolutely gorgeous  As for the Sirius card I think that is the one I now want the most, but for the life of me I cannot see a G or an Oldman in there |
