A courtesy call to 'insert MEMBER name' to empty their PM inbox!

Hi guys

Over the weekend a member had problems deleting a message, and in the process of trouble-shooting and upgrading there is now a limit on the number of PMs you can have in your inbox (the number you can have depends on your member status, so people with lots of posts can have more PMs than others).

If you are getting this error you can either look in the 'profile' of the person you are trying to PM and email them and let them know to empty their inbox  or you can email me and I'll get a message to them.

You can't 'search' your PMs so the best thing to do is keep the emails that the forum sent you when you receive them in Outlook express or another email client, or use gmail (PM me if you would like an invite to gmail) which you can access online and search.

What's the limit for a newbie like me ? Right now i have about 28 received and a bunch sent. Do i need to start cleaning up my inbox? I didn't have the 'email me when i get a pm' option on

Oh she did alright  any ideas on how many we are allowed per farmyard animal (ok not many Yaks in many farms around here)

I've heard from Roz that people aren't able to PM me either!!
I don't know what the uppper limit on messages stored might be, but I've spent a bit of time weeding through old messages and deleting them in the hope I can be contacted again in the future.
The BIG question is now - have I deleted enough .... ?

*sighs* .. I've been told the max is 100 messages and then the error messages start!
I've just deleted soem more so with any luck the PM should get through ....

Roz, I tried to write you last night and got the message too!!  I had 500 in my inbox   I just needed to delete them, and went to 100.  Guess I need to delete more

woa lol my inbox is down to 13 pms and I still get the error msg XD, with the ones in my outbox i have 24, i'm guessing the limit for "Calf" is less than 20 ?
