Thanks for that sneak peek link!!!  Cheesy

From all the trailers and TV spots I have seen so far, Ice-man could be the one to meet an end in this movie, after taking that full blast to protect Rogue.

I don't know; something tells me, what with the cure and all, we'll see Rogue de-powered by the end, and probably Cyk and the Prof dead. Just my own hunch though.

Oooooooooooooh Ian McKellen was on Jonathon Ross tonight promoting both this film and the Da Vinci Code, and although he'd not seen either film Jonathon Ross had seen X Men 3, so Ian McKellen was asking questions about how things looked and what had been cut ROFL! the excitement on his face was amazing for someone who has made as many films as he has Cheesy

Anyway, they have left it open for a sequel (that was really what Ian McKellen wanted to know - apparently it's set up in some chess scene).

I REALLY hope I can get tickets to see him play King Lear next Spring.

And who cares? As long as McKellen and Stewart are in it?

Well, the Aussies might have a thing or two to say about that Tongue and Jackman is awesome. I'm sure he'll be persuaded if this is a big hit.

the odds for sketches have been announced at 1:320 packs which means that it is 1.5 sketches per case

wow that is really going to be a hard pull

and i bet the price for sketches will rise quite quickly

Yowch, that's pretty low. But on the upside I hear Fox (?) have been REALLLLLLLLY picky about what they let through the net, so at least it will be a pleasure to pull one Grin

ya this will be a good set i's day. i'm still disappointed though as in the start this looked liake an amazing set. costume, autograph and sketch cards. i though you would get maybe a auto per box, a costume for every two boxes and maybe a sketch in every third box. that would have been a great set but now its only autos. still good but RA generally do better and this time not so much.

I just had a look at this and I am pretty sure Iceman will be safe - it definitely looks like he is cuddling Kitty Pryde (not Rogue) when the fire ball hits him  Smiley

I do regret putting my preorder in so early (well when there were still supposed to be costumes).  I guess this is the flip side of the whole never knowing squat about Artbox stuff until it comes out.  I don't think I would have picked up a case of X3 if I had known that there were not going to be costumes.  Then finding out the sketches are going to be so rare makes it sting even a little more.

Now don't get me wrong the auto list is INCREDIBLE, but I would think the big signers will be rare (Grammer, Stewart, Paquin).  It would have been different had they been able to get Halle Berry and Famke Jensen to sign for this set too.  I just don't like spending that much for a case and only getting 12 auto's and 1.5 sketch cards per case.

Any time you are spending $60-$70 a box out of the gate I really think you have to be able to get two premium pulls per box.  Now on a Topps type product when you are looking at $40 that is different to only pull one card.

I realize RA had no control over not being able to get the costumes, but I would have hoped for more sketches to try to even things out.  For my first real buy of a RA product (I bought 2 boxes of the first Battlestar Galactica a while back) I am a little anxouis and think I will have to have some good luck on my side to get my value out of the case.

Who knows maybe I will get a Grammer, Stewart, Paquin, Jackman and 2 sketches and be spouting RA love all over the place Kiss , but right now it will be wait and see.

I agree David, I put 2 cases on preorder right at the start with my distributor with the promise of Autos, Costumes and Sketches. I now feel pretty glad I managed to cancell my order with them especially now the Sketches are sooooo rare  Sad . I got stung on the X2 set from Topps a couple of years ago and was not going to get caught out again. Rittenhouse stuff is normally pretty good though so I hope it all turns out OK for everyone else.  Praying

For me, I didn't put in an order for any cases as I only want a few autos from this set and I am kinda relieved I didn't. Would reserve my money to invest in 2 cases of the star wars evolution update instead.

In case it has not been mentioned... Hugh Jackman may not be in the 4th movie (if there is another, and most likely there will be) but there is an anounced and planned Wolverine prequel that he would star in. Basicly tell his background and would more than likely follow the Weapon X comic series.

Yes it's been mentioned... and it's also been mentioned that it's been left open for the sequel.

I am really interested how many different sketch designs for each artist there will be.

so far there are arlready 19 different sketches shown and I assume there will probably at least 10 different sketch designs for each artist.

I think that one from each artist will be the norm for most collectors

I assume if they are doing archive boxes it will include 1 sketch from each artist. (I would love to get an archive box for this set
