General question - what is the best way to ship a card/cards?

When shipping cards do you ship them in Card boxes? Do you ship individual cards in screw or snap cases or just between hard cardboard?
Trying to find out the best method before I put some cards up on

I put them in a penny sleeve, then a top loader, then a team bag surrounded by cardboard, in a bubble mailer.....

Ah, Sara, you just beat me to it!   I'd rather hear that than a complaint about shipping a card in a top loader and a regular business envelope.  I received a POAU gold divination variant that way.  The envelope got torn along the edge of the top loader and it's only luck that allowed it to be delivered without damage.

You know, it sounds like a lot, but when you package it with all of that, it really isn't that much.  Just how I would like to receive a card I ordered is all.

And that's exactly the way I ship individual cards too.  I charge $2.00 US shipping to the US & Europe - covers the mailer, postage w/ delivery confirmation & supplies.  There are times it's a little less than $2 with all that, but often it's a little more.

I mail my more expensive cards in screwdown holders in a bubble mailer - I think that if a truck ran over them they would be ok (not that I would want to try) Unfortunately, these cases are expensive in Aus - $3-5 each depending on type. When you factor in packaging, mailer and the actual shipping costs, it is quite pricey
