Box 3 was quite a box the last 2 costume cards were slightly sticking together in the same pack which still had 8 base cards in! Another pack had 12 base cards in while others had 5, 6 & 7 cards. Great entertainment! So 9 cards from 3 boxes. Makes me feel better about my first case I bought which had 3 dud boxes each of which had one pack with only 6 cards in, these were boxes 7,8 & 10 in the case. What made it ok for me was the Emma Watson auto card in one of the other boxes! I still buy these for the sheer unpredictability of them!

I also bought some POA update on  recently, and had the same interesting experience. The most cards per pack I had was 13 and others with only 4! However out of 5 boxes I had 3 costumes in one (Gryffindor students, Harry, and Lupin), Cedric in another, and Fudge in the 3rd. I had 2 duds out of 5 boxes  But like you, I will still continue to hunt those boxes as you never know!!

The POAU set is one of my favorites, but they are so unpredictable. There are times when I am tempted to buy one, but I am always afraid it will be a dud.

Just bought myself a sealed hobby box
I haven't bought a POAU one for ages!!. I have never had any luck with any of the POAU boxes i've bought in the past and i know that there are so many dud boxes out there but as Prisoner Of Azkaban is my favourite film i am a real sucker for them.

Another ultra letdown of a box
All i got was a Harry Potter's Black Cardigan costume card which i have had on at least two other ocassions!.
This box cost me around £50 with postage. I think i have finally learnt my lesson with PoA update boxes and this will be my last one.
I think in future it will be much wiser and cheaper to buy individual cards.

I have to say that the POAU card set has some unique and prized cards. The trouble was that Artbox over produced this second release after its success with POA the first set. This amounted to fewer premium cards per case and thus per box. I have to agree that it is probable better to purchase the individual cards that you like.

I would agree..... in theory! However, as this was a box produced before there were clear case clusters (which made life so terribly dull) there's something that eats away at me with the PoAU box I have sitting waiting for a rainy day so I can admit I understand why you tried another stoney

Like you said erevine, there are some very unique and prized cards in the PoA update set which is the very reason that i keep buying the boxes (and because it's my fav film )Despite all the dud boxes that are out there i still dream that i will find one of these cards.
It will be interesting to see what you do with your box Roz. The lure of a PoA update box is a powerful thing indeed!.

WOW!! You are sitting on a POA case!!. The Holy Grail of HP cases! I can't believe how lucky you are!. The last time i saw on of these for sale on ebay, the price was about £1000.
I can't believe that you have resisted the temptation to open the boxes inside. I certainly wouldn't of been able to..LOL!.

I was lucky enough to snap it up for $400.00, but that was a few years ago, back when COS was the hot case due to the great COS Props.

Good on you for getting it at that price!.
I wasn't collecting cards then so i missed out.
COS was a great set though wasn't it!. It had some great props and really nice costumes and autos.
I remember when i got my case a couple of years ago, the three props i pulled were books from Dumbledore's office, a potions book one with some great writing on it and a Christmas Crackers one which was gold and yellow and had part of the Gryffindor Lion's head on it.
I also managed to pull a Hermione's blue jumper costume card from my case too so i was over the moon.

The UFTF had a spread of the usual rays all across it. I had two boxes with 3 pulls and 2 with 2 pulls. Here's a summary:
