You could leave the Weird Sisters with a world tour in 2005.  If you look at the HP timeline on the Harry Potter Lexicon site, the Yule Ball was held on the evening of December 24, 1994. Smiley

Oh, I was thinking that it was close to real time.  But how could it be when there are 2 years or so between books!  Roll Eyes

Thanks, everyone!  The mandrake will be up for auction later tonight with a cool Voldemort film cell card with a fire scene, and a few more odds and ends that aren't HP related.  I'll post a link later on the diagon alley thread.   Wink

Update - I just got a couple of emails , including one from Growgirl (thanks!) saying that my photos of the mandrake on ebay aren't showing up.  Is anyone else having a problem seeing them?  They look ok from my end.   Huh

I see them... but if you were hosting them from photobucket, the site was down temporarily for a bit, so that may have been your problem.

Nope, I use Sparedollar, but that was still probably what happened.  Thanks!  Grin

Here are photos of the Quidditch World Cup program.  The cover is see-through at cetain points in order to see the letters on the cover page.  I'm still working on some pages for the inside.  So far I have: Irish roster, Bulgarian roster, Veela page, Leprechaun page.  I'm working on two player spotlight pages.  One for Krum and one for the 2 female chasers on the Irish team.  I'll also have an itenerary page in the front.  Should I have anything else?

How about an advert or two - maybe one for the binolculars or for the little models that fly around on their own (I think Ron had one).  You could maybe put a Ministry of Magic warning at the bottom of the page, like a public notice warning everyone not to do any magic in front of Muggles.  Just a thought  Smiley

That looks great Kelly. Cool  I like Sharon's idea about adding some ads.  All the programs I've ever picked up all had ads in them.  And the Ministry of Magic warning is good too. Grin

Hey Kelly, your life-size Mandrake auction is doing great and there's still almost 2 hours to go. Grin

Yipee on the mandrake!  I'm so excited!   Grin   And I agree that I need some ads.  I'll be working on that.  Thanks, guys!

Any help?

I seem to remember this being posted once before in a larger format. Was it on YAK SHACK? If so, does anyone remember where it was?

I am sure it was on the Shack but I can't find it now.  I thought it was in either More than one Marauders Map or the thread where Mike was making his props but I can't find it now.  Sorry  Sad

But Kelly you must be dead chuffed with the Mandrake  Grin  It was beautiful and the winner has got a perfect replica.  So what's next after the programme?  When the GOF film comes out I think I will be nagging you for either a mer person or a grindylow (can't remember if that is the correct spelling).
