What do you reckon the 100 CASE Incentive card, Numbered to 12, will be? Platium plated Hungarian Horn-Tailed Dragon Scales?

She does ... in the book! I remember reading that the director decided not to film her part and her being quite upset about it - it was all to do with trying to keep the length of the film to something reasonable and not ten hours long! Mugglenet or LC ran the article months ago ... :'(

i missed that article and i am really sorry they took that out i think that that scene would have shown the real bond that has grown between Mrs weasley and harry and how harry is looked on as one of her children

True, but in the article Julie Walters said that she could see the director's point-of-view and the reasons why he cut her from this film ... she didn't really elaborate any further on it than that, only that she was naturally disappointed. I can't really remember much more than that as it was some months ago when I read it, so I'll be very interested to see what they've included and what they've cut when the film is released.

You're correct, but the movie scalps the book and doesn't add the depth or build characters they way a book can.

I am so lost. D I really need to read all these books a third time Are you talking about the fact that they never explained in them ovie who Moony, Padfoot, Wormtail and Prongs really were? And Mrs Weasley was in the beginning before they left for Quidditch World cup too, right? Of course, the Dursley's were cut out too. I guess this one will start at the Quidditch World cup?

I like the movies. but, they don't live up to their potential. They've missed a chance to make some really great movies instead of just very good ones. *SIGH* I guess they'll never be able to equal the books. I get the feeling they are just "cashing-in" with minimal output of effort.

I thought LOTR was acurate It's accurate in that it has very accurately re-created the look, feel and magic of Tolkien's world... but the story itself had to be pretty twisted to work on screen.

I have to say that in a few years time, when all the books are out, I am hoping they make a tv series. The first book could be say 12 episodes working up to OotP which could be a full 26 episode run. That way the side stories and characters could be explored.

I would love to see the books made into a TV series. Then I could get my weekly dose of Harry Potter.
