Right, well I know Zero and Anna are on the cusp of starting their journey - we must continue to post in the other section for non spoiler things so that we can keep their interest up but if there's anything you want to chat about then pop it here.

I wanted to share this - the translation of the 3rd teaser trailer

All I can say is - about time that you finished those episodes

The movie looks brilliant, even from the 30 second trailer - who do you reckon that guy with the extendable arms that Ed is fighting is? And I thought that people could not do alchemy in our world - so is Ed just special, or has he somehow found a way to get back through the door into the alchemy world? And who is that person that looks like an older version of Al living with Ed and Hohenheim?

One point that I was discussing with Mark - in the finale, Ed 'died' and went through the door to our world, but he as able to come back across because Al used his Philosopher's stone to get him back. My point being, can you bring back people that have gone to the other side like Hughes? I loved him, he was my favourite character and I was so cut up when he died :'(

I hope we see Roy and Winry and everyone again! I guess we would necessarily have to because if we are going to see what Al is up to, we'd need flashbacks to the alchemy world.

I'm sure the film will be split up across the two worlds and there will be plenty of both. The guy that looked like Al has to be the "our world" version of Al.

Ed must find a way to do Alchemy in our world, or a very near equivalent. Or Al will find a way to do something freaky like bring him back or open the door so Ed can use Alchemy or something.

As for Hughes, I'm sorry Jo but I don't think he's coming back. I think his body would be kind of decomposing right now so even if they brought his soul back where would they put it? However, there is a very real possibility that there will be a Hughes equivalent in our world. I guess we'll just have to wait and see!

I can't find any pictures of Ed as a young Ed online - he is SOOOOOOOOOOOO cuuuute!

I want to take the picture, print it out and show it to everyone (a la Hughes )

Have either of you read the manga that is on the Shack cool links box? I'm up to the 9th part and its rather different from the series! They've also got some funny bits on the last pages of episode 4 and 8

Did you know that Ed is a Major in the military? All State Alchemists are automatically given that rank when they pass the exam - then they can move up the ranks like Mustang does.

There's so much out there that I keep picking up the 2nd/3rd time around

I did not realise that! Well Major Edward Elric does sound imposing doesn't it!

lol - although he achieved that (and became a state alchemist) so early in the story that it seems nothing compared to what he went through throughout the series doesn't it?

I'm actually not going to read this whatever it is so no one tell me what it says. I'm going to wait until I've illegally downloaded an illegally recorded in the cinema and fansubbed version to see what happens. Anyone got a problem with that? :p

Anyone heard about when the movie will be released outside of Japan? I tried the imdb site, but they have nothing

The suspense is killing me

I ought to check out some of the download sites soon - it's been out in Japan for a while now and so someone must have videoed it and got it to a fansubbing group. If not now, I want to know why not!!!
