OOOOOoooooooooooo VERY nice!!
I've bought with this seller before and he's good to deal with.
I wouldn't really call this a 'Master Set' though as there aren't any of the costume cards included are there?
Still, it's a lot of money ... *sighs sadly*.... only wish I could go halves with you FTY!

What about the French FOTR base set plus foils and the German TT base set plus foils. Or is this just being too obsessive.
Does anyone has the French number 89 card, I have quite a few spare French base cards I would trade for it.

French FOTR base set and foils?
I've never seen ANY of them, nor ever heard of them before now!
The German TTT base set and foil sets I have, but the French ones .... hmmm ....
Were many boxes produced d'you know?
Of course there's the super-expensive Japanese Hobby sets too don't forget!

I have never been able to find anything out about them apart from the fact that they are very hard to find. I have spent years trying to get a set together and only need number 89 to do it. For some reason the French have never wanted to let them out of the country, I am ashamed of the number of begging emails I have had to send in my very poor French. Some cards I have got very cheaply and others have paid a lot for so over all they have not worked out too bad. No where near as expensive as the Japanese sets.
All the pictures are the same as the regular FOTR set but on the front, which is not foiled, it says Seigneur Des Anneaux La Communaute De L'Anneau. All the text on the back is in French. The foils are called Metalliques A Collectionner which sounds much nicer than foils.
With all the duplicates I have almost got another set together but I am missing 18 regular cards and 1 foil. I don't know if I will ever finish them as I have not seen any on eBay for at least 12 months but I keep searching and that is what makes this hobby so exciting, well for me anyway.

Crickey ... they
are
a difficult set to collate!
It sounds to me that they only produced very small numbers of them to start with which is a pity.
Good luck on finding the rest of the cards you need!
