Thanks for posting the link Roz.  Smiley
I've got the White Witch with Ginarbrikk, General Otmin and Oreius so far. After Aslan, Id like to get Peter on Unicorn and the Tumnus maquette...but as long as there are Harry Potter cards to be getting thats never going to happen.  Tongue
From the Weta KONG line I have the Kong Vs. V-Rex (the giant one).
I buy all my statues from Weta direct as shipping from NZ to Aus. is cheaper for me than buying from the US or the UK.  Smiley

I looked at their policy and they say they only ship within NZ - is there some loophole you've managed to find? Wink

Weta ships all its Narnia and Kong products to any destination. The LOTR products however, are only sold to NZ residents.  Smiley

No worries.  Grin
My friend in NZ orders the LOTR pieces for me and then sends them on to me. I only get them from NZ in the hopes of getting an Artist Proof piece.  Tongue

Well, my statue arrived yesterday, but as it was sent to my boyfriend's house, I haven't been ale to see it in the flesh yet, but he took some photos for me of it and it looks stunning! Comes up to about knee height and about that in length as well. The bad thing was that I told Peter it would be about 10kg and half a metre max in dimensions (as per the Weta stats) but it ended up being about twice that size and more than twice as heavy. Unfortunately, Peter was feeling particularly energetic that day and decided to walk to the Post Office. Needless to say, he wasn't too impressed with me when he got back and his arms are still sore Embarrassed Guess I have to make it up to him somehow.

Mind you, he gave me a heart attack when I asked him whether there were any damages. So maybe he kind of deserves some of it ROFL!

Him: 'Well I'm no expert, the only thing is there is a big crack down the side of Legolas
Me: '!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked'
Him: Evil Evil Evil ROFL! ROFL! ROFL!
Me: *insert punching arm smiley*

Oh - have a look at this link for some close up pics of the statue and a nice history of the Leggy/Gimli friendship Smiley

Oops!

This reminds me of the time when Mark and I decided to take a stroll to pick up what we thought would be 2 Evo sell sheets and promos... it was 5 cases ROFL!

Hi Jo:

What a stunning piece!   Smiley   This Legolas looks so much better than the first statue Sideshow/Weta did of him.  Gimli looks outstanding as well.  I think this is one of the best pieces Sideshow/Weta has done.  It is a pity the Aragorn on Brego statue failed to measure up.  I had one on pre-order and cancelled it after seeing how Aragorn's face came out - I did not like it at all and was not going to pay the price they wanted for what was to me an inferior sculpture of Viggo.  I will bet Sideshow gets it right with Aragorn when they offer a Premium figure of him in the future.

Again Congrats on a beautiful statue!   Smiley
