Hi Ztaylork
It was my auction that went up for BIN and I didn't mean to chop off the fervour, but to add to it in a way (and maybe slide a bit of it my way  Wink.
No offense meant and I'm glad the winner eventually got himself a card-it was a shame he was "pipped at the post" at the end last time.

Ahh this one

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=219&item=6102727600&rd=1

No I don't believe that deflected from your auction Ztaylork - if ppl had wanted to pay that much for a PT card his would have been bought on buy it now

...had there been the demand his would have been bought and yours would have gone even higher in my opinion.

The plan with the cash is to feed my dying credit card Smiley  dis-cix won it.

and paid for ..at the third attempt because PayPal rejected the amount on the first card or second card ( bank account ) so finally I had to put a new card with the smallest limit on and that it took !

I only wish there had been a cheaper way for you to get the money  Smiley ...oh all right that I hadn't been sniped with the previous one  Roll Eyes or had seen the first BIN  Cheesy

Welcome dis-cix, may i ask whats in your HP POA auto/prop/costume set so far?  Grin

Deep breath...

Sell sheet + Sell  Sheet for tins
Gold & Cards inc promo sets ( Red set on way + Silver 1,2 &3)
The 3 case toppers ( the Dementor card is the best of the whole set )
The 4 box toppers
8 of the autos ( Thewlis/Lupin still to get and I'm very doubtful about the Cards Inc preorder of Julie Christie auto...they have said it will be on its way soon...)
7 of the costume cards ( I got 2 of the pink Hermione and kept one with embroidery on it )
7 prop cards ( with imps and frog on their way )
Uk costume card
Honeydukes Candy card
and hopefully the peartree card

So Cards Inc set, Blue promos, Green promos and finish off the silver promos etc.

It was much easier to get a set of LOTR-FOTR  Smiley

Hey dis-cix

I am glad you finally got a  peartree card - it was ours you were bidding on last time, you faithfully kept bidding and then right at the end with 5 seconds to go (probably an uautomatic sniper program) beat you to it! And I was in the UK - I spent nearly £100 receiving that money from America - boo Sad

Anyways your collection is going really well - have you pre-ordered your PoA update boxes/ cases? I have gone for 2 cases this time (I went for only half a case last time as it seemed "a lot of money to be spending on paper" Tongue

I didn't know there was also a sell sheet for the tins Sad I only have the normal sell sheet!

And the UK order of the binders hasn't come in yet which is a pain as I am waiting!!! (Even though Ben only paid £16 for his inc p and p from the states - it may even cost me more than that here in the UK).

Dis-cix if you don't have time to read the whole forum the most important thread is this one -

http://www.theyakshack.34sp.com/yabbse/index.php?board=6;action=display;threadid=240

as it is the thread we are posting info on the PoA update set as we get it from Darren, it's not out til October so your bank balance has time to recover!!!

Bad luck greenpaw, did you have a $2000 reserve on it?

To be honest I wouldn't have listed a card at this point if I were you - there's been 4 cards on in the past month and it's bound to quieten down now. There was my #18, then a buy it now at $1800, then Zytaylorks and I think yours then came on a bit soon.

Hi Roz
Yes I had $2000 on it.
I actually planned to list it the same day as Zytaylork but he beat me to it  Wink. I really didn't want to interfere with his auction so had a high reserve on it. I really don't llike reserve auctions but in a way i'm glad it didn't sell.
No big deal really, i'll sit on it for a while. I'm in no rush to sell (unless of course i get an offer i can't refuse!). It really is a nice card and reminds me of that beautiful courtyard in the film when i look at it. I wish my backyard looked like that!
Cheers

dis-cix won it.
and received it just 10 minutes ago !!!

Yes it got a VAT charge from the UK customs ( though thankfully they accepted ztaylork's declaration ) and yes it got the ParcelForce "handling charge" ( aka rip-off )

Hi all
Just to let you know i put the pear Tree Leaf card up again and sold it after a few hours via Buy It Now.
Ebay Item #6105024202.
I was very happy with this price and the buyer has paid already so i'm extra happy. Grin
Now i'm off to finish of my "normal" Harry Potter collection.
Cheers
