I finally pe-ordered a case a few days ago. I think 800 cases will go fast. I panicked a bit and thought I'd pre-empt the announcements. This is the original film after all. After POAU I was reluctant to get too carried away. The exchange rate if you buy is so good at the moment a case works out at about £30-£40 a box which is pretty good going. I am a collector and don't mind if I lose out too much. I don't buy to invest but enjoy opening the boxes. If I get any extras I'll be looking to swap with people on this board. We have a good community on here and I like all the excitment over the first few days of a product release. Not buying would be agony!!!!!!!!

Well anyone who hasn't pre-ordered but does intend to purchase should really get a move on and do so because word is that people are being allocated... i.e. dealers have ordered X number of cases but distributors may not have enough to give everyone their full order so dealers may get less than they ordered. I am sure if you have pre-ordered you are safe dealers seem to be very good on this and absorb their allocation themselves.

I like all the excitment over the first few days of a product release. Not buying would be agony!!!!!!!!

Agreed... it's so great when we are all opening up cases, sharing pictures, showing off variants etc Smiley

I haven't seen any of this info on other forums, but as soon as it shows up on sites like NSU, you can bet that a lot of orders will be placed and the set will start selling out at the dealer level.

I have some of this product on order  Lips Sealed but i am not selling any boxes past what i have pre orders for. I have had to put in my orders and so I am locked into the number of cases I have got so no room to take any more orders now. If it is true that this set is now being allocated then that means that the 800 cases have been absorbed by the dealers quite quickly and i am sure a lot of them have stopped taking pre orders as I have.

And think how long people are spending queueing at the Post office. Is it not possible to do this online? Or is it that you have to include receipts, papers etc?

I haven't bought any more following the release of data, but I think I have plenty on the way already thank you very much  Tongue

I dont get why you wouldnt want to file and get your money back ASAP the longer you wait to file th elonger it takes to get and the longer you wait in line at the post office!

When I did mine i waited 2 weeks had my cash, if i would have done it online they said 7 days! now think how long it is Tongue

I did everything online.  I get some moeny back from the state, but I always owe on federal since there is the marraige penalty act for couples without children.  Anyway, I do EVERYTHING online.  I had them do an automatic withdrawel for the money I owed, which they took right away, and I am still waiting for the automatic deposit from the state in to my bank account.

We did ours online, too.  Since we were getting a refund, we filed as soon as we had all of our documents from employers, banks, etc.  We were amazed to get the federal refund deposited in our bank account THREE days later, and the state refund a week later!  It definitely pays to file early.

I never heard of the marriage penalty for couples without children! I was quite shocked myself. They also reward people who have kids. At least for my sisters who get a fairly hefty sum ... but that could be for families who have kids and fit it a certain income bracket. I'm not too sure.

Anyways, my mum owns a business, and her taxes are really, really crazy. She has to keep every receipt from things she bought for deductions and what not. They work on organizing them for weeks if not a whole month. Then, she has to take them to an accountant who will "do" the work for her. Today, she still doesn't know if he finished them or sent them off. Perhaps, one reason why taxes can be late.

There is a marriage penalty -- married couple who file jointly generally pay more in taxes than those who file separately, regardless of having children.  Congress occasionally tries to address it, but never does anything about it.

Married couples with kids usually can get some deductions.  For instance, my state has a day care deduction in addition to a credit per child.

It's all very confusing, because there are federal taxes and state taxes, and they have different regulations.  We use tax software to keep track of everything.

I pre-ordered a few weeks ago as I got a great deal on some cases and some promised extra case incentive cards (would give more details, but last time I gave good details on something I thought might be a good deal, the seller freaked out, which has nothing to do with anyone on the forum but that particular seller, but I couldn't resist when my distributor offered me what they did.  Smiley  and no it wasn't Tomunique as he is the one that "I have burned bridges with" Smiley

Ok so i finally caved and ordered ONE hobby box-which is down from two cases for Original Azkaban and three cases for Update Roll Eyes.  I just won't go there with cards again after Update-twas a good lesson in overcommiting for me.
The box i bought was a fairly good deal though $58 for the box + $6 air shipping to Australia. Can't get much cheaper than that over here (usually about $170 for a box in stores Shocked).
Thats all i am going to get this time (thats what i say now anyway-just wait another 2 weeks and i'll be caving!).
By the way has everyone seen the new HP busts by Gentle Giant? The Harry especially looks very nice  Tongue.
Cheers
