I've gotten more than 5 different "official" ebay emails from sellers wanting me to pay for items I never bid on.  The sellers were real, the item #'s were real, but I never bid.  Beware of any ebay correspondance that comes through your email.  Always check your "my messages" section on your ME page.

And report suspicious emails to ebay - forward the email (with all attachments & headers) to spoof@ebay.com
