4  Harry Potter / Old Diagon Alley / Re: spares needed for PoA base set on: July 20, 2006, 05:56:09 AM
Its funny you should say that Cindy, I just received an email from the seller saying she'll do that Smiley
But I know I wont get another set as cheaply as what I payed for the first one
Luckily Anna has saved the day though, and in the end I'm still paying less for the whole thing than the cheapest set currently on  Ebay!
Thanks again Anna
5  Harry Potter / Old Diagon Alley / spares needed for PoA base set on: July 15, 2006, 06:14:03 PM
Just received a poa base set to find a few missing Hopping Mad Hopping Mad Hopping Mad
I've been in contact with the seller and they cant help. She was quite happy to refund me, but frankly, by the time I send them back, as I bought them in US, then buy another set, Im gonna be out of pocket by a bit. Its just not worth going that route, especially as these sets are really hard to come by now, I've found.
So.....to cut a long story short I was wondering if anyone had these as spares somewhere?
No. 67, 68, 69 & 72.
If anyone can help let me know how much.
Muchly appreciated
Tash

What does your Snare look like?

The scan doesn't really do it justice, the card being so thick my scanner did a hissy fit, but the actual sample sits quite raised above the card.

lovely spiders!! although real spiders freak me out

Aahh Ron the Second hey ECL?

yeh I thought I'd done pretty well too Grin Grin. The wizard candy by far is my favourite, it's one of the ones with Lik O'Rish spiders on it.
Heres a pic

Im in two minds about selling the devils snare. Im not too fussed on the card, but its my first good, rare card. But the proceeds of the sale could buy more boxes Wink
