I think I might go for a case of this release - it looks superb! I wonder if MarleyEds will be updating his awesome site with details of artists and sketches?

I asked Marleyeds this very thing! He said he did not know if he would have the time to do it. I think his situation has changed since the last set, and he doesn't have as much flexibility as far as internet access is concerned, as he did when the last two sets were released.

I like that the sell-sheet says something to the effect of "new art from the world's top illustrators!".

Which of course is true if you are talking about the new pieces by Drew Struzan, Mark Chiarello, or John Alvin. I've seen Chiarello's paintings, and they are stunning. He did portraits of Arwen, Eowyn and Galadriel this time around. I can't WAIT to see what Drew and John Alvin have done. But then you've got some of us "and many more" artists....

Yup; its true! I'm excited to say they asked me to provide a piece of art for the base set cards! Weee!

AAAH! I hope I didn't ruin your Christmas surprise by posting them! I did ask your gift-giver first, and he said it was fine....!

That is an outstanding Harry Potter panel of sketch cards! 

And the cuddly little puppies, Luna and Tonks (love the names) are absolutely adorable! 

I REALLY want to dye the white bits on Tonks purple, but fear that the animal rights folks would have something to say about it!

well if you are doing the one with all the staff then may i please be the first to bid on it  as you would know i am a huge Mcgonagall and hagrid fan

I'd ahve loved to done Hagrid and McGonnagle, but i was going for a balanced them thingie. I just hope it worked! I might try anothet one with all the faculty; I think that would be fun. And then I could do key members of the DA....

hey everyone! I'll be at booth 4607 with my boyfreind Adam Hughes. I'll be the one desperately trying to see what cool swag everyone NOT tied down to a booth is getting!!!!

Seriously; I'll have a bunch of sketch cards pre-done ( I've been in the Harry Potter frame of mind lately)  as well as alot pencilled out, ready to be finished however you would like ( pencil, black and white or color). So swing by and visit me! Show me your cool stuff so I can live vicariously!

hey Leah! it will be great to see you in London!!! Add Adam Hughes to that list; we rarely go anywhere without each other! PLUS; Adam is doing sketch cards on the upcoming Star Wars anniversary set, and we both will have personal sketch cards to offer in London!

no... its too expensive for us to fly out to the west coast more than we have to! Celebrations will eat all that budget for us this year! but we'll be at Emerald City con in Seattle at the end of the month...

I'll be there, running the booth for my boyfriend Adam Hughes (he's a Con guest this year!) our pal JG Jones ("52" cover artist) and perhaps also our pal Mark Brooks. When I know our booth number, I'll let everyone know!
