General Stuff / Ebay and Paypal quibbles/problems / Re: How should I deal with this buyer?

With shipping the card using Priority, is there a certain amount of value (insurance) that it covers? If he does get his way maybe you could file through USPS for a damaged card from shipping. ?? If all else fails, you could also have a friend buy one of his cards (the same as you sold him) and claim it was damaged and you should be able to get it back. Good luck, I know I'd hate being in that situation. Keep us updated. Ttyl, Tim

General Stuff / Ebay and Paypal quibbles/problems / Re: eBay: Big changes in pricing, PayPal and shipping cost limits

I'm completely amazed at the percentage ebay makes off of cards in a fixed price auction. Especially compared to what it used to be. I wish I could sell my cards in the "Computers and Networking" section so the final fee's (%) would be almost half the amount!!All Other Categories (card section) $0.01 - $50.00 12.00% of the closing value $50.01 - $1,000.00 12.00% of the initial $50.00, plus 6.00% of the remaining closing value balance ($50.01-$1,000.00) Equal to or Over $1,000.01 12.00% of the initial $50.00, plus 6.00% of the initial $50.01-$1,000.00, plus 2% of the remaining closing value balance ($1,000.01 - closing value) Like others have mentioned, you then have listing fee's and Paypal fee's. That makes it tough selling cards in a fixed (BIN) auction style, which I like doing from time to time.
I hope things change.......and I mean for the better.

To me, any customer service person at Comic Images should have a list of the artists and anytime someone asks they could just copy and paste that list to the reply email. And that would be easier than explaining there's too many artists to list or ask again about a particular card.
And yes, I've been reading about horrible collation.

Trading cards / Trading card sets / Re: The Complete Avengers Card Set

Your efforts will be noticed!! Along with all the other artists. I have seen plenty of samples from this set to say that every artist is giving it their all !!! You know every sketch card is colored, that means a finished piece of art.......not a sketch. So there's no need to commission an artist to do an aftermarket coloring to enhance it..... it's already done!! And this is the first time ever.
Just the words INNOVATIVE and EXCITING that Joanna used to describe the 2-case incentive is killing me to know what it will be. But my purchase is based on the inserted sketch cards and anything else will be an added bonus. And that's just me.

We had a pregnant stray cat out and about around our house. But we got the mom cat into our house before she delivered. Well, it was on Easter morning 2 years ago ( 3 a.m. to be exact) when she woke us up by having them right in the middle of our bed. We were lucky enough to be able to get some blankets under her for most of them. We kept 3 of the kittens and found a home for the other 2. And the mom along with the 3 we kept have been inside kitties ever since. BTW, nice pics.
